JM Rizzi
JM Rizzi, born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1975, is a Brooklyn-born and Dallas-based artist renowned for his large-scale murals, public sculpture installations, and mixed-media canvases. His artistic journey began in the 1990s as a graffiti artist in New York City, where he developed a gestural expressionist style. Over the years, Rizzi has expanded his practice to explore various facets of abstraction, drawing inspiration from jazz music, the works of Robert Motherwell, the Wu-Tang Clan, and Texas sunsets. His vibrant and dynamic compositions have been showcased in numerous locations worldwide, including Rockefeller Center in New York, Borås in Sweden, and Shenzhen in China. Currently based in Dallas, Texas, Rizzi continues to contribute significantly to the contemporary art scene, both locally and internationally.
